SiSoftware Sandra Lite XII.SP2c 14.24.2008.5 is a system information and benchmarking utility.
Using SiSoftware Sandra you can get information about the CPU, chipset, video adapter, ports, printers, sound card, memory, network, Windows internals, AGP, ODBC Connections, USB2, Firewire and the rest of your hardware.
The Lite version is free, but limited. It lacks some functionalities, like remote push install, commercial exploitation license, premium support, batch execution of modules, burn-in computer tests and support for Plug & Play and SCSI hardware. It doesn´t mantain an event log, either.
The program can be installed using six different languages.
The first screen offers you several tabs. The first one, home, simply gives you direct access to the other ones.
Under the Tools section you can perform a variety of test on your system, add new modules or connect to another device.
The Benchmark session will test your system components, while "Hardware" will give you an overview of your system installed components, and "Software" will do the same with your installed Operating System and programs.
Advantages:
- It´s a powerful tool to check your system and know if you have something to improve.
